This setting is used for dimension automation in multi-server environments. It communicates to the feed the location of the SSIS package store, which in multi-server environments is located on the BPC application server (the feed by default will look for the package store on the database server).This setting is not required in single-server environments, since the package store is located on the same server as the databases server, so the default setting works.
