In Windows 7, the location of the version data would be Start -> Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features.
See example:
Notice in example above there are two (2) provisioning packs installed. Due to the loosely coupled nature of BPM Connect, this may mean there is the potential for mixed versions of DBObjects, Data Process Control, Config Builder or ETL engines from different packs to be installed on the machine. There may be business drivers or scenarios that warrant this type of configuration.
Use the manifest file to determine which component versions belong to each pack.
Methods for determining operational component versions on a given machine are:
- Data Process Control - Navigate to Data Process Control. Click About. Version information is displayed there.
- ETL Engine - Execute the following SQL query
- DBObjects - Execute the following SQL query
- Config Builder - Navigate to Config Builder, click Help -> About. Version information is displayed there.
When installing a new provisioning pack, by default it will not delete the old provisioning packs. If older provisioning packs are no longer needed, it is recommended to uninstall them from the machine. This makes installs cleaner, easier to follow and more organized.
