ETL Engine Bulletin: 3.x Sync Solution

For ETL Engine SSIS package 2008.3.x  or 2012.3.x there is a patch for the "Sync" method.

When running feeds in "Sync"  mode using the 3.x  package series, the data is sent to the primary fact table rather than the write-back, thus the data is not reflected in the cube after feed completion.

This has been solved in the X.3.2.1 release series of the ETL Engine.

• For SQL Server 2008, download and apply ETL Engine 2008.3.2.1.dtsx
• For SQL Server 2012, download and apply ETL Engine 2012.3.2.1.dtsx

To apply the patch:

1. Download and place the respective .dtsx file into the DTS working directory on the BPM Connect server.
2. Re-point the DTSXpackageName setting to the new dtsx file name. 

NOTE: For SQL Server 2012 instances, it is recommended to install DBObjects_V3.2.2 in-conjunction with the ETL Engine 3.2.1.dtsx.
