Error: The metadata could not be determined

The following error is logged on the Application event viewer.

DataRequester - Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Desc: The metadata could not be determined because statement  'EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_sqlagent_is_starting @retval OUTPUT' in procedure 'sp_is_sqlagent_starting' invokes an extended stored procedure.    

 The symptom of this error is usually one of two displayed in the Data Process Control.

1. The Cancel button has no impact when trying to can jobs.  Everytime the cancel button is pushed, the metadata error is logged in the event viewer
2. When running feeds, the status shows jobs pending with no progression.  Jobs hang endlessly in pending mode.  Every attempt to run a feed, the metadata error is logged in the event viewer.

This is an issue with the new SQL Server 2012 meta data repository capabilities and how it works with SQL Server Agent 2012.

This issue has been solved in the 313 pack of BPM Connect.
