RFC Connector – “threw an exception”

When running the RFC Connector for BPMC, the following error is showing in the error log.

“The type initializer for 'SAP.Middleware.Connector.RfcDestinationManager' threw an exception."

This error usually occurs in new environments that are missing the required dependency files.

To solve this issue, make sure the BPMC RFC prerequisites are in place. 

Use the following prerequisite check list to ensure proper dependencies are in place:

1. Install 2010_vcredist_x86.exe - used for Config Builder
2. Install 2005_vcredist_x64.exe - used for ETL Engine
3. Unpack "loose dependency files.zip" - These are used for ETL Engine.  Use the FileMap.txt in this zip to determine proper file locations.    

These file can be located in the BPMC_IFramework\RFC_Kit directory.
