Usage Roles

There are two (2) primary usage roles within the BPM Connect framework. The various tools within the BPM Connect framework are designed to facilitate each role: These are described below.

  • BPCAdmin/User - This role is usually a BPC Admin/Power user, and owns the data processes from a business perspective. The primary tool of use for this role is the Data Process Control. This tool allows the BPC Admin to control on-demand and lights out execution of their data processes, refresh rate, and provides monitoring and kick-out analysis.
  • BPM Connect Developer - This role is usually a more technically skilled system integrator or IT professional. This role is responsible for the install, development, maintenance and troubleshooting. The tool for use of this role is the ConfigBuidler. This is a visual studio for all the needs of a BPM Connect developer, and automates the development process.
