Feed Run Sequence Concepts

In the Data Process Control, more than a single data process can be fired off at once. If more than one feed is selected and run, the feeds queue up in and run in sequence. What controls this sequence?

This sequence is set during the feed development process by the feed developer (see here for configuring Batch Run Sequence). However, there may be cases where the DPC end user needs to override the default sequencing the developer has pre-configured.

This can be accomplished by using the BatchSeqOverride switch in the Data Process Control. This can be activated by DPC admins, and is located in the DPC settings panel. By flipping the BatchSeqOverride switch to 1, this enables a little text box to the right of the load panel. The text box displays the numeric sequence the feed is intended to run, and, allows the end user to override the default sequence by assigned a different number.
